It's long, but give it a read anyway

I don't expect that you have the least degree of interest in my background or the flowery description of my aspirations, so I'm going to tell you about my work.

Monetizing photography is a nice cherry on top, but there are way more lucrative areas to gain competence in. I do it because photography is the perfect excuse.

The mandatory requirement of being part of a society is an array of inhibitions to limit our self-expression in order to maintain relative order. Curiosity is one of the most prolific culprits of messing up that order. And I am a very curious person. Thanks to photography, be it on the streets or within the cozy confines of a prearranged event, I get the license to give freedom to that curiosity in the most wondrous act of self-abandonment. Now, when considered together with the opportunity to impose my self on those things I'm curious about and thereby create a personal story of fiction out of reality, I'm beginning to doubt whether I should change this little paragraph into an average introduction about why you should hire me, because if I keep going, I'm afraid I'll open your eyes to the beauty of this craft and get you to leave my website and pick up a camera yourself.

Now, you might be wondering why the hell you should care about this guy's secret to happiness. Well, that's because basically everything I just said means that if you get me to do photography for your event, I won't be slacking. I won't be driven only by the idea of getting all the obvious shots (although that too, naturally), but I will go above and beyond to capture as much of the heart and soul of what's happening as I physically can. Because that's what I care about. Because that's why I have this website in the first place.
